We had a great stay at the Mercure Caledonian. The location was perfect for exploring Aberdeen, with major attractions within walking distance and public transport nearby. The hotel itself is a beautiful building with stunning 19th century architecture. The staff were extremely helpful and quickly addressed any issues we had. The room was spacious and wheelchair-friendly, with a fantastic walk-in power shower. The breakfast choices were delicious and the king size bed was very comfortable. No noisy clubs or bars outside, just the occasional car passing by. The train station was just a short walk away.

I was pleasantly surprised by the view over the Union Terrace gardens from my room at Mercure. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The shower pressure was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the rail/bus station and Union Square shopping mall. The architectural design of the building is quite impressive. The rooms may be a bit outdated, but the views from the higher, front-facing rooms are great. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet, providing a good night's sleep. The breakfast room offers a well-spaced layout and a good selection of food despite any restrictions. Additionally, I was upgraded to a suite which had a fantastic accessible bathroom, perfect for wheelchair users.

Despite these positives, there were a few drawbacks. This resulted in no available disabled parking spaces and difficulty accessing the hotel due to uneven road and pavement surfaces.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The location was fantastic, right in the center of the city and so close to everything but not noisy. I especially loved how close it was to His Majesty's Theatre, which we were visiting. The hotel facilities were great, with a clean and spacious room that provided a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, even going the extra mile to upgrade my room and accommodate changes to my schedule. a highly recommended hotel, especially for its convenient location close to the train station.

As bike riders, we loved the convenient location near Union Terrace and easily accessible public transport. The hotel staff were friendly and provided coloring books and toys to keep our little ones entertained. The full Scottish breakfast was a great way to start each day, and the spacious room with extra seating was comfortable.

It's right in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from all the shops and attractions. Plus, it's conveniently close to the railway station, making it so easy to travel around. This was particularly handy for me as I wanted to visit the nearby His Majesty's Theatre, which was just a short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, as it was close to the shopping centres, train station, and the port. The staff were great and very friendly, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The room amenities were excellent, with everything we could ask for, including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini-bar. The restaurant served delicious food, and we enjoyed the bar/lounge area for some relaxing drinks after a long day. we were very impressed with the service and quality of this place.
