Clean and spacious room, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Enjoyed the live music at the restaurant/bar. Didn't get a chance to use the indoor pool or gym, maybe next time.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I would love to stay here again. From checking in to checking out, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room exceeded my expectations with its spaciousness and a large, comfortable bed. Everything in the room felt virtually new. The restaurant had a buzzing atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The hotel's leisure facilities, including the clean pool and spa, were a great addition to my stay. I believe this hotel deserves a higher rating, as it provided a top-notch experience.

Had an amazing new year experience at this hotel! the staff were super friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the venue itself was stunning, with beautiful surroundings and spacious rooms. the highlight was definitely the restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. the location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.

There were a few areas for improvement. the rooms had a funny smell and could have been better aired.

The location was perfect - situated in a quiet suburb on the outskirts of Newcastle, it was a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were incredibly kind and courteous, always going out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The spacious and clean rooms were a delight, and I was pleasantly surprised when my room was upgraded for my boyfriend's 21st birthday. The hotel also had a lovely bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. this place exceeded my expectations and provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

The hotel staff were fantastic and upgraded our accommodation, making our day magical. Really friendly staff from arrival to check-out. Great facilities in the room, including USB points. The pool, sauna, and steam room were excellent, and the gym looked great. The breakfast was good, especially the pancake maker. The location was convenient, and the ground-floor room was perfect for our party.

The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to the bistro and the Fitch restaurant attached. The breakfast selection was enjoyable, with a nice variety to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a pleasant stay for guests.

had another amazing stay in washington at mercure. the room was modern, clean, and had a stunning golf course view. the bed was huge and so comfy. wish i could've stayed longer to enjoy it fully.

Bathroom fan on all day.

The room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a lovely little balcony. The staff were attentive and offered us a late check-out when we had an issue with the lamps in the room. The jacuzzi was amazing and the swimming pool was a hit with our daughter. The food at Carter and Fitch was delicious, and despite a slight wait, it was definitely worth it. we had a beautiful experience and would gladly book again.

During my Christmas stay, the hotel provided comfortable beds and a good shower. In terms of location, it was conveniently situated and easy to find. the best part of my stay was the room upgrade that I received unexpectedly.
