the room at merlstead house was absolutely stunning. from the spacious bedroom to the separate dressing room and ensuite, every detail was thoughtfully designed. the nespresso machine, fresh water, and homemade lemon drizzle cake made us feel right at home. the hosts, sarah and paul, were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay.

The room had a lovely sea view from the large bay window, and an additional window that flooded the room with natural light. The bed was large and comfortable, and there were tea, coffee, and a delicious lemon drizzle cake provided. The hotel also offered a variety of cereal options for breakfast, along with milk and fresh orange juice. The hosts were friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, being close to the beach and next door to a restaurant.

The location was perfect, being very close to the beach and just a stone's throw away from the Marine pub. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The facilities provided were excellent, from the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms to the added touches like a fridge stocked with milk and juice, as well as a selection of cereals, coffee, and tea. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in this city.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Edwardian building. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The Orla room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large ensuite featuring a bath and separate shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary cereal, milk, tea, coffee. The location of the house was fantastic, just a short walk from the seafront, town, and Hall Garth Park. We can't wait to return to this charming place and stay with Sarah, Paul, and their family again.
