I stayed at this lovely cottage in Middleton in Teesdale for a week, and it was perfect for my family and our dog. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the market place. We had everything we could possibly need, from milk and mince pies upon arrival to toiletries provided. The cottage was spotless and had all the comforts of home, including plenty of radiators to keep us cozy in the winter. The area was very dog-friendly, with stunning views and great places to walk. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Mews Cottage for a few days and it was perfect for our family. The cottage is spacious and tucked away in the village center, providing great walking opportunities. The pub served delicious food and the cottage had ample crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment. The bedding and towels were of good quality, and the communication about check-in was prompt and helpful. The welcome pack of milk and cake was a lovely touch, and the cottage was exceptionally well-stocked with utensils and toiletries. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

Stayed in a stables-turned-cottage, felt like a fancy horse. Lovely natural surroundings, cute courtyard. Enjoyed pretending I was in an episode of Downton Abbey.

Internet was so slow, I had time to watch all the seasons of Downton Abbey while waiting for webpages to load.

We had everything we needed at the cottage, from toiletries to milk and mince pies upon arrival. The location was stunning and perfect for walking. The locals were friendly, and the cottage was spotless. It was great for pet lovers, families, and couples, with comfortable accommodations and plenty of radiators to keep us warm in winter. The outdoor table and benches were a nice touch, and there was even a parasol for sunny days. an amazing and well-equipped cottage for a great price.

Felt special, nothing too much trouble.
