The micro barn was beautifully set out with everything needed for a warm stay. Great shower and fresh milk on arrival were a nice touch. Despite hot radiators and bathroom towel rail, the cozy, clean space was enjoyable. Pub's food and staff were fantastic. Some noise from the nearby beer garden but calmed down by 9pm. Great base for exploring Durham.

Micro Barn Mickleton Barnard Castle was a cozy and spotlessly clean stay. the barn provided a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and essential kitchen amenities. Situated in a peaceful location with lovely walks nearby, the owner was very accommodating. Free onsite parking was convenient.

I absolutely loved entering the day with a cup of tea in the lovely beer garden 🌞. the homemade black pudding at breakfast was a delightful surprise 😋. Only downside: limited seating in the room 🛋️.

i had a fantastic time at micro barn in barnard castle. it's a lovely little place in a quiet spot, perfect for exploring the beautiful county. the property is excellent for a rural getaway, with all necessities for a comfy stay. it was easy to find, and the food at the crown pub nearby was superb. highly recommend it!

The warm and friendly welcome was such a great start to our Easter getaway. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our cozy and comfortable micro barn. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding was of high quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The barn itself was well decorated and designed, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Plus, the location was fantastic, with an amazing view in a quiet setting. It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

While our stay at the micro barn was overall enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. One of the main disappointments was that the pub on-site was not open during our stay.

Spotless Facilities - the barn may be tiny, but it was immaculately clean. It felt like stepping into a miniature palace, where even the tiniest details were taken care of, just like a meticulously crafted piece of art.

Not really a big deal, but it's worth noting that although the barn isn't the largest, it's more of a snug self-catering setup, with just enough space for making a cuppa and a little bathroom clean-up 😊.

I had a fabulous time staying at this quaint and cozy barn. The micro barn was small, but it had everything I needed. The shower was excellent and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially loved being able to make a cup of tea in the morning with the provided tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. The atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful, and the food was absolutely delicious. it was great value for my money.
