This place is truly a hidden gem! The location is stunning, with beautiful gardens and lovely walks down to the lake. It's hard to believe that such tranquility exists just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff here are absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, and professional. Every single member I encountered took the time to greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome. The service here is top-notch, from the helpful concierge to the attentive waitstaff in the bar and restaurant. They definitely go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Our Xmas stay was ruined by the outdated decor of the rooms which was both impractical and uncomfortable. the heating system was outdated, and the temperature was so low that we had to wear multiple layers to stay warm.

Plus, it was only a short drive away from the trendy Bishopthorpe Road area. The service was top-notch, with staff from various backgrounds, including French and Italian waiters, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They even accommodated our special requests, exceeding our expectations. The amenities were fantastic, with a spa and wellness center featuring an indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and Turkish bath. The on-site car park and 24-hour reception were also convenient. We couldn't ask for more, and we highly recommend this place to anyone.
