We had an amazing time at this charming farm retreat. The owners were so warm and welcoming, taking us on fascinating tours of their picturesque farm every morning. Our children absolutely loved collecting fresh eggs from the hens – a truly memorable experience. The cottage itself was comfortable and well-equipped, offering a lovely cottage feeling. Our little ones had a blast playing in the nearby garden filled with fun play things like a climbing frame. It was such a relief to find a place where the kids could freely explore the farm and still be safe. The highlight for them was going on a farm check with the farmer in the morning, driving around in a Kawasaki jeep – a truly unique and exciting adventure. We also enjoyed leisurely walks through the beautiful fields surrounding the farm.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks like the absence of a cafetiere in the kitchen and the lack of a mop or bathmat in the wet room, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay. The occasional dripping tap and the softness of the armchairs were minor inconveniences.

We recently stayed at a lovely farm holiday accommodation that was perfect for our family. The cottage we stayed in had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. Our kids had a blast exploring the farm and interacting with the animals. The location was also ideal, with plenty of beautiful walks and nearby attractions to visit. we highly recommend this farm holiday experience.

Nothing it was perfect.

The location was calm, peaceful, and secluded. The property we stayed in, Carter's Lodge, was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making our stay even more enjoyable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I had a wonderful stay at this countryside lodge. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The peaceful surroundings of the farm and its beautiful land added to the overall charm. The fast WiFi allowed my husband to work without any issues. The lodge was also spacious enough to fit our travel cot and baby items, and the onsite washing machine and dryer were a great convenience. Sally-Ann, our host, was fantastic and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
