Great location, just a short walk away from the main attractions and shops. the complimentary coffee and cake in the lounge was a nice treat, and the breakfast options were delicious.

there was a lot of noise from the street outside, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Guests have mentioned that it is so easy to walk to the center of York from the guesthouse, with the Minster just minutes away. The breakfast hamper was plentiful and the granola was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly throughout our stay.

Loved the warm welcome we received and appreciated the early check-in. the homemade cake and coffee offered were a lovely touch. the location was perfect for exploring the city, attractions were within walking distance, and public parking was close by. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the great view from our window.

The pillows were a bit too firm for us, and the furniture in our room seemed a bit disorganized. We also had some trouble with a large gap under the door that let in a lot of light at night.

I had the most delightful stay at a charming B&B in the heart of historic York. The renovated bathroom in my room was absolutely amazing, especially the luxurious bathtub. And the view of York Minster from my window was simply breathtaking. The location in medieval Marygate was perfect, right next to York Museum Gardens. The Halloween decorations added a fun and festive touch to my stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of options. it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay at Minster Walk Guesthouse again.
