The location of the hotel in lovely surroundings, close to the main railway line but it didn't bother us too much. We enjoyed being near the pub in the village. The room was spacious and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. The hotel also had nice walks around the park and local area.

The facilities at the hotel could use some updating, especially the toilets and showers.

Alfred's bar was welcoming and had cheap prices, which was a bonus. Despite initial concerns about the train noise, we didn't hear it after the first couple of trains. Lovely site, relaxing walks around the loch. Beautiful views, nice walks, park on site, kids loved it. Caravan very clean and well-presented. Staff were lovely and accommodating. I recently stayed at a holiday park in a great location, close to Moffat town. The property had a large loch, and the staff were very helpful. Our caravan was comfortable and spacious, with a car park right next to it. The property was outstandingly clean upon arrival, and we even received little welcome packs. I appreciated that they provided all the necessary essentials, like towels and washing up liquid. The attention to detail and quirkiness of the place, like the surprise little packages in each room, was a nice touch.
