We got amazing value for our money at Monamore! The room was fantastic, with a picturesque garden view and a luxurious bathroom. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk from the charming village. Emily, our host, was lovely and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast offerings could benefit from some variety.

my recent stay in lamlash was amazing, but Monamore Guest House took it to a whole new level. the incredible wildlife garden view from my spacious and clean room made the experience truly unforgettable. not to mention the delicious freshly cooked breakfast, homemade tattie scones, and the extra touches like scottish tablet and shortbread in the room. emily, the host, was so welcoming and knowledgeable about arran. this guest house is truly a gem.

I had a fantastic one-night stay at this lovely B&B. My partner, who is vegan, was well catered for, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was beautifully designed with quirky touches like binoculars to borrow for wildlife watching. We even spotted a red squirrel in the garden! The shortbread in the shape of squirrels was a delightful treat. The shower gel provided was all-natural, which I appreciated. The host had excellent knowledge of the area and gave us great tips for walks and things to do. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the extra touches, like the weather report and Cal Mac information, were well thought out. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at a beautiful B&B in Arran. the room at Monamore Guest House was impeccable, with outstanding details and amenities. It truly felt like being in a home with privacy, rather than an inn. Emily, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. the view of the wildlife in the garden was simply amazing. We loved waking up to the sight of birds and rabbits. the breakfast was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and homemade granola and veggie haggis. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is also dog-friendly, which is a plus!

The Glenashdale room had a stunning view of the nature garden where we spent hours observing the birds, squirrels, and rabbits. The bed was spacious and comfortable, and the powerful shower was a delight. Emily's attention to detail was evident, from the eco-friendly toiletries to the homemade shortbread and local tablet. We couldn't get enough of the delicious breakfast options, both the full Scottish and the continental treats. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our stay was truly enhanced by all those little touches that Emily goes above and beyond to provide. Despite the challenges of CV19, she ensured our safety while treating us like adults. We were also impressed by her commitment to the environment. we highly recommend this place and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of its amazing amenities and peaceful location.
