We had a fantastic family stay at Monard Villa last week. The cottage was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had excellent facilities in every room. The kitchen and utility room were well-appointed, and the lounge with the log/coal burner fire was incredibly cozy. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring Harris and Lewis, and we couldn't have asked for a better base. The owner, Mairi, was a wonderful host who made our family get-together extra special. We would highly recommend Monard Villa and hope to return in the future.

We had an exceptional stay at this villa. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all parts of the island. The villa itself was spotless and felt like a home away from home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing enough space for our group of friends. The owner Mairi was welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The broadband was excellent, keeping the kids entertained in the evenings. We loved everything about this property, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy atmosphere.

The only minor issue was the size of the kettle, which could have been bigger.

The location of the hotel is excellent, making it a great base for exploring the island. It is centrally located, with easy access to Stornoway and other areas of interest. The property is in an exceptional state of repair and the contents and furniture are of high quality. the host is friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay.

While the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, there was a slight inconvenience with the lack of an instruction manual for the various home appliances and heating system. This made it difficult to figure out how to get the heating on upon arrival.

The location of the villa was great, with easy access to various parts of the island. We were able to explore the beautiful surroundings and visit nearby attractions without any hassle. the owner was friendly and always ready to assist us during our stay.

While our overall experience was positive, we did find that the shower could have had more power. It wasn't a major issue, but a stronger water flow would have been nice for a more refreshing shower experience.

I recently stayed at Monard Villa in Barvas for a week and it was absolutely perfect. The location was ideal for exploring the island, and the views from the property were stunning.
