I got great value for my money at Montfort Cottage. The room was clean and cozy, with a nice set up of tea, coffee, and snacks. The location was perfect, on a quiet street but close to both Bowness and Windermere. The staff, Jane and Paul, were friendly and helpful, providing tips about the area.

The hosts Sue and Paul gave us a warm and friendly welcome, which made us feel right at home. the breakfast was absolutely fantastic and really set us up for the day ahead. - the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. - the guest house was situated in a great location, close to all the amenities and attractions we wanted to visit. - We were provided with maps to borrow and received helpful advice from the owners.

The en-suite bathroom was very small, which was a bit inconvenient for us. The room itself was on the smaller side, and there was no sitting room in the house.

We opted for the breakfast in room option, which was delicious and great value for money. Jane, the owner, was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Parking was easy as well.
