The hosts Sue and Paul gave us a warm and friendly welcome, which made us feel right at home. the breakfast was absolutely fantastic and really set us up for the day ahead. - the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. - the guest house was situated in a great location, close to all the amenities and attractions we wanted to visit. - We were provided with maps to borrow and received helpful advice from the owners.

The en-suite bathroom was very small, which was a bit inconvenient for us. The room itself was on the smaller side, and there was no sitting room in the house.

The room amenities were top-notch, from the ironing facilities to the tea and coffee facilities, everything was thoughtfully provided. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with a cozy sitting area and a comfortable bed. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The garden area was also a lovely addition, with beautiful garden furniture where I could relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

We had a fantastic weekend at Montfort Cottage. The location was perfect, within walking distance of both Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a great en-suite shower. The hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the guest house gave us peace of mind. We opted for the breakfast in room option, which was delicious and great value for money. Jane, the owner, was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Parking was easy as well.
