During my recent stay at The Moon Inn, I was impressed with the comfortable room and the great location. The staff were welcoming and made me feel right at home. The inn is ideally situated for walks in the Peak District, which was a highlight of my trip. The modern and stylish decor added to the overall appeal of the inn. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant, further enhancing my stay.

Although the room was a bit small, it did not detract from the overall positive experience. The only other drawback was that the bar area in the morning for breakfast was a bit cold to sit in.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the stunning Peak District. We were able to easily visit Chatsworth House and other nearby attractions. The hotel itself had a lovely beer garden where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff were incredibly professional and polite, providing excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed the homely evening meals.

The outside décor of the hotel was in need of refurbishment, with peeling paint and building materials lying around.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. the food offered at the pub was delicious and had something for everyone. the location was great, with a nice walk directly out of the door. the family room was spacious and perfect for accommodating children.

The heating was quite noisy and prevented us from getting a good night's sleep. the presence of dog hair on the seats during the evening meal was not pleasant, especially since we were charged a high price for the room without having adequate facilities.

As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, I was thrilled with the location of The Moon Inn. Surrounded by the stunning White Peak district, it provided the perfect base for exploring the great outdoors.

The breakfast and service from the friendly ladies were exceptional. Ample parking and easy check-in. The accommodation was clean and allowed us to bring our dog. The beautiful surroundings offered lots of activities for couples and families, including picturesque towns, stunning walks, and great cycling routes. The locals were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The attached pub was a highlight, with a fantastic chef and warm service from the waitress/barmaid Alice.
