Spacious and comfortable rooms with ample parking onsite. Conveniently located with frequent bus services nearby, making it easy to get around the city. the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Limited breakfast choices with several items running out and not being replaced. In our room, the bedside lamp was not working, and despite reporting it on the first evening, it was not fixed.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room, and additional provisions were available at reception. The location was convenient, with a 20-minute walk to the city centre and a good bus service nearby. Breakfast had a good selection and ample portions. Free parking was an added bonus.

Had a lovely stay at Moorland House. the room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We booked the family room and they even set up an extra bed for us. Gordon, the host, was incredibly friendly and the continental breakfast exceeded our expectations. the selection was fresh and of good quality. the location was very central for exploring the city of York, and we especially appreciated the off-street parking. Plus, having an Aldi nearby for snacks was a bonus. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
