This hotel in a lovely little village has great value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the charming old-fashioned soft furnishings in the rooms. The location, about half a mile above Pitlochry, adds to the overall appeal. The staff provide excellent service, and the basic amenities are all in place. I particularly appreciated the little touches like having a bath in the room to soothe tired muscles. Additionally, the breakfast spread was plentiful and satisfying.

The hotel's location was beautiful, with stunning views out over the hills behind Pitlochry. It was the perfect base for exploring an interesting and historic area, and the fact that it's a bit out of the way made it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were well-equipped, with little touches like a bath to soothe tired muscles after a day of exploring. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, setting us up perfectly for a day of walking in the surrounding countryside.

Lovely little self-catering cottage, well-stocked with kitchen essentials, saved us from buying unnecessary supplies. The nearby pub had great food and a great atmosphere, the best experience in Scotland. Highly recommended!

the staff at Moulin Hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even in these difficult times. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, providing cushions to sit on during a cold, wet night. the food at the pub/restaurant was simply delicious, and the self-catering experience was one of the best we have had. the hotel grounds were beautiful, with a stream running through a lovely garden. it was a superb stay.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The food served at the pub was delicious, and there was a good variety of beers to choose from. What made my stay truly enjoyable was the fact that the hotel warmly welcomed dogs, creating a convivial atmosphere for both pet owners and walkers. The location near Ben Vrackie car park was a bonus, as it provided a convenient stop for those exploring the area. Despite a slight disappointment with the bread and butter pudding, I would definitely consider returning to this hotel for its overall pleasant experience.

Charming exterior, spacious rooms with good amenities, and a festive atmosphere created by Christmas decorations. The location is excellent for hill-walking. The breakfast menu offers plenty of choices and the adjacent Moulin Brewery serves excellent local beer. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel just outside Pitlochry. The location was perfect, with a Co-op conveniently located down the hill. The hotel facilities were great, especially the bar with its microbrewery and wide selection of drinks. The atmosphere in the bar was cozy and warm, thanks to the long fire and friendly people. The breakfast served was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Visited this lovely hotel with my family. Beautiful decor in the public areas and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and well cooked. Quaint, comfy rooms with a pretty setting and a stream in the garden. Good bar food and their own brewery. Lovely view from Room 2 and spotlessly clean bathroom in Room 3. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to watch the birds in the garden.

The location was perfect for hill-walking and the village had a charming and calming atmosphere. The staff treated us with great humor and character, providing excellent service and delicious ales.

Lovely outside seating area with charming artwork on display throughout the hotel. Our stay in the historic tavern was very pleasant, with delicious food from the pub and inn. The gardens along the stream were a delight and the atmosphere for drinks was enjoyable. The breakfast selections were numerous and the smoked fish with scrambled eggs was a real treat. I'll recommend this hotel.
