Absolutely mind-blowing views of the town and harbor, comfiest bed ever, INCREDIBLE homemade breakfasts! .

I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet and cleanliness of the room. the en-suite shower was a great size and the little extras provided, such as binoculars and magazines, added a special touch.

The room was advertised as a small double, but it was extremely cramped. the bed was too small and very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The view from our room was just breathtaking, loved waking up to it every morning! the breakfast was top-notch, really set us up for the day ahead. the terrace was a great spot to unwind and take in the stunning views over Dartmouth, a chilled glass of wine in hand would've been the cherry on top. Only downside was the wonky shower situation, bit of a hassle with the handheld nozzle and the high tub. 🌅

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which had a wide variety of options and home-made preserves. the location offered stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area, adding to the overall charm of the experience. the hosts were extremely friendly and offered helpful recommendations about the area.

We found that the room was small and not as well-equipped as we would have liked. the shower temperature was difficult to regulate and the bed was not very comfortable.

We stayed at Mounthaven Guest House for a weekend getaway and had a delightful experience. The owners, Shaun and Rose, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options and homemade jams and marmalades. Our room had a breathtaking view of the Dartmouth estuary, and we thoroughly enjoyed the little extras like fresh milk and binoculars. Shaun and Rose were also very helpful in providing information about the area and recommendations for restaurants and travel routes.

Despite the impressive amenities, we did have difficulty regulating the temperature in the shower. It was a minor inconvenience that did not detract from our overall stay.

I recently stayed at the lovely Mounthaven Guest House for 4 nights. Shaun & Rose, the hosts, were welcoming and attentive. The property offers stunning views and has a beautiful garden. The room was cozy and clean, and we were able to park our car there. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh fruit salads and homemade preserves. Shaun's scrambled eggs and omelettes were a highlight. our stay was enjoyable and we highly recommend Mounthaven Guest House.
