I had an incredible stay at the well-equipped and stylishly furnished Mountview Pod. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the thoughtfully decorated interior to the special touches on the terrace. I particularly enjoyed the magnificent view from the pod and the provided welcome tray of goodies. The space-saving design was also impressive. I wish I could have stayed longer and made use of the BBQ for a fully enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Mountview Pod for a memorable getaway.

As women travelling alone, we felt completely comfortable and safe at the Pod. The hosts provided everything we needed for a cozy and relaxing stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, a chiminea for a cozy fire, and even binoculars to enjoy the stunning views over the loch. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. it was a truly comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Although the hot tub was a great addition, one side of the jets wasn't working. It didn't affect my enjoyment too much, but it would have been nice to have all the jets functioning properly.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful pod in a fabulous location. The pod was clean and tidy with a well-thought-out layout and plenty of storage. I loved the hot tub and could have easily spent days just relaxing in it. The electric cook plate outside was a fantastic addition. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the whole set up was great. The surrounding lodges made me feel safe and connected. The friendly passers-by added to the lovely atmosphere. The extra home comforts like blankets and bath robes were a thoughtful touch. it was definitely worth the money and I wish I could have stayed longer to fully appreciate the surroundings.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the bay and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottage itself was well-equipped, making it feel like a real home away from home. The enclosed garden was perfect for our furry friend to relax and enjoy the surroundings. the village nearby had excellent eating places, offering a variety of delicious options.

The bathroom was a bit cold, which made it slightly uncomfortable during our stay.

The absence of a continental breakfast included in the price was a disappointment, especially since we weren't prepared with milk for our tea and coffee. It would have been helpful if the property owner had made it clear upfront that card payments were not accepted, as we had to scramble to find an alternative payment method upon check out.

The king bed was very comfortable, and the blackout blind ensured a good night's sleep. Enjoyed watching the local wildlife, with deer roaming close by. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby village, with restaurants and shops within a 10-15 minute walk.

The cottage is quite a walk from Lochinver, and if you don't have a car, it can be a bit inconvenient. The bedroom could get quite warm on warmer nights, although the windows do open.
