We had a fantastic stay at this lovely property. It was spotlessly clean and well-stocked with complimentary water, tea, and coffee. the location was perfect, with amenities like a hotel bar, a Co-Op, fish and chips, and a bakery right next door. It served as a great base for exploring the NC500, and we will definitely be returning in the future. the property also had convenient onsite parking, a picnic area, and fast WiFi. the room was comfortable, with a large bed, amenities like a microwave and crockery, and a small kitchen area for washing up. it was excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at Muir Bank for one night during our trip on the NC500. The car parking was a big bonus and the instructions to access the building and our room were easy to follow. The room itself was clean, bright, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The housekeeper we encountered was friendly and the finishing touches in the hotel were exceptional for the price. They even allowed dogs to stay without any extra charge, unlike other places we visited. We will definitely return to Muir Bank thanks to its great value for money, comfortable and modern amenities, spotlessly clean environment, and convenient extras like a microwave and plates/cutlery. The efficient heating and hot water, as well as the comfortable mattress, also contributed to our enjoyable stay. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect, with two breakfast places just a minute away.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Muir Bank for the second time. The value for money is truly amazing. The rooms are comfortable, modern, and spotlessly clean. We were impressed with the extras provided, such as a microwave and plates/cutlery. The heating and hot water were efficient, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We can't recommend Muir Bank highly enough and will definitely be returning on our future visits to the area. Additionally, there are two breakfast options just a minute away, adding to the convenience of the location.

The premises were clean and well-presented, just like the reviews had suggested. the room was welcoming and had all the amenities we needed, including a microwave and plates and cutlery. I also appreciated the communal dining room and the availability of a fridge/freezer. the location was convenient for our activities, such as visiting Urquhart Castle and dolphin spotting at Chanonry Point. the on-site parking was a bonus. an excellent stay and I will definitely be back.

The property itself is spotless, with spacious and comfortable rooms. the highlight, however, was the incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience, always ready to assist with local recommendations and any other assistance we needed.

While the hotel had many positives, there were a few drawbacks. the layout of the facilities could have been improved, as the clothes hanging area was obstructed by a shelf holding a microwave and kettle.

We stayed at this lovely hotel on our first night on the NC500 and we were highly impressed. the rooms at Muir Bank are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated to a high standard. the beds were extremely comfortable, which is always a plus for us. We also appreciated the extra touch that the housekeeper, Morag, gave to the place. the facilities were excellent and the location was perfect for our trip. the self-checkin process was seamless, with codes provided prior to our arrival.
