I had a fantastic stay at this charming countryside retreat. The hosts, Laura and Charles, were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The homemade shortbread and tea they greeted me with were a delightful touch. The Taupe room I stayed in was comfortable and offered stunning views of the surrounding fields. Laura's pub recommendations were spot-on, and breakfast the next morning was delicious, especially the homemade bread. I can't wait to come back to this hidden gem in the future.

We stayed at Mulberry Barn for 2 nights while attending a wedding nearby. Laura and her husband were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They made us feel at home, offering tea and coffee on arrival and providing a delicious selection of breakfast options. The beds were luxurious, the gardens stunning, and the atmosphere tranquil. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with local knowledge and even allowing a late check-out due to a napping baby. The location was beautiful, with a quiet and peaceful setting surrounded by birds and flowers. a fantastic stay.

our Christmas stay at this hotel was quite enjoyable. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. the breakfast provided was particularly delicious, with a wide selection of options to choose from.

the directions provided to find the hotel were not clear, especially as we arrived in the dark. It was raining and the security light kept going out, making it difficult for us to locate the entrance.

The setting was beautiful. Friendly and helpful host. Comfortable and clean rooms. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit. Personalized service. Efficient communication. Relaxed atmosphere. Ample parking available.

Set in beautiful rural location, only 30 mins from Southampton. Warm and homely feel, charming hosts, and comfortable beds. the hosts were happy to provide us with an early breakfast as we needed to leave early the following morning.

Not exactly a negative, but had to ask for tea, coffee, and milk for our room. the private bathroom was not en suite, and had to run up and down the stairs for water/washing cups.

Beautiful site with wonderful trees at the rear of the property that create a lovely atmosphere. the owner, Laura, is warm and friendly, providing a welcoming and home-like ambience. the location offers superb views of the surrounding countryside, which adds to the overall experience.

One downside is that it is difficult to find the hotel without using Sat Nav, as the signposting is poor in the nearby village.

The rooms are extremely comfortable and exquisitely clean, offering a peaceful retreat for families with two small kids. The friendly and welcoming hosts ensure that guests receive top-notch service, and the breakfast options are delicious and beautifully presented.

It can be inconvenient for guests to have to run up and down the stairs to the downstairs bathroom for water and washing cups.
