The owner was very helpful and provided instructions and contact information for any issues. The full Scottish breakfast was good, and there were also yogurt options in the fridge. Despite being on a busy main road, the noise was muffled with the windows closed.

The location of the B and B was great, right in the center of town and close to the ferry to Orkney. We also found the room to be comfortable and the bathroom spacious with a huge bath and shower.

Spent my Easter break at a lovely bed and breakfast. The room was fantastic, with a clean and refurbished atmosphere. The location was quite convenient, as there were two banks opposite and the bus-stop was within reach. The customer service was above my expectations, and the helpful owner was just a call away in case of any problems.

On arrival, I had a bit of trouble finding my room keys, and no one seemed to be on the premises to address my concerns. , there was no communication with the proprietor of the B and B throughout my stay, which was a bit unusual, to say the least.

We were impressed by their excellent service and look forward to visiting again in the future. Room 6 was spacious and recently renovated, with a functioning bath and shower room. The central location on a quiet street with a car park was also a plus. The breakfast room was spacious and offered a good selection of choices. It's commendable that Murray House supports young local staff with employment opportunities, and overall, it offered good value for the price.
