I recently stayed at Plas Nanteos Mansion for a weekend getaway with my labradoodle. The spacious room was perfect for us, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the taster menu for dinner was exceptional. The hotel's location in a peaceful countryside setting was absolutely blissful, with beautiful grounds to explore.

It was surrounded by beautiful countryside and had scenic walks that were perfect for exploring. the history of the building was also a major highlight, with so much documented history available for guests to read and learn about. the fact that the hotel had EV chargers for complimentary use was a major plus for us, as it was a rare feature in the area. the setting and amenities were excellent.

Despite being advertised as dog-friendly, we were not allowed to take our dog into the restaurant, even though we had confirmed this prior to our arrival. the fact that they offered meals in the room as an alternative was not satisfactory, as we had booked with the understanding that we could dine with our dog in one of the restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at the Plas Nanteos Mansion Guest House. the food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals were of a high standard. the staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay very welcoming. the room was well equipped, spotlessly clean, and everything worked well. the public rooms had a stylish and inviting ambiance, especially the dining room. the grounds were impressive, with interesting features like the pond and walled garden. a truly impressive experience with beautiful views and plenty of history to explore.
