We stayed at a lovely old pub next to the church, in a beautiful part of the country. The room was large and very quiet, offering a peaceful stay. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, quickly resolving any issues that arose. The breakfast was enjoyable, with good food and attentive service. the pub had a great atmosphere and provided a cozy spot for relaxing with drinks after a busy day.

The atmosphere, the beautiful pub and surroundings, the food, the host and warm, relaxed hospitality, especially in relation to our two dogs who were readily accepted.

We stayed at a charming country pub in the Cotswolds, surrounded by picturesque views. The pub is conveniently located near the castle combe race circuit, making it an ideal choice for motorsport enthusiasts. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff provided friendly service. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out to the nearby church for a special event.

We did encounter some issues with the shower gel being empty in our room, and the cups not being replaced or cleaned.

The location of the hotel is superb, situated in a lovely old pub next to the church. It offers a charming and authentic experience, with close proximity to the castle combe race circuit. The staff at the hotel are fantastic, providing friendly and efficient service. The breakfast at the hotel is very good, with a wide range of options available. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean and soft towels provided in the bathroom.

Parking can be a bit limited, requiring guests to park on the road due to a lack of space in the car park.

The check-in process was a bit inconvenient, as the pub seemed to prioritize the bar over the B&B side. the entrance was unlocked upon arrival, and there was no one to greet us.

The landlord, Charlie, was incredibly helpful and attentive, even offering to give us a lift to a nearby tourist attraction. Our room was full of character and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast spread was delicious, featuring a typical British spread along with a beautifully cooked full English. The view of the quaint and quiet village of Grittleton was an absolute gem.
