Clean rooms, good Wi-Fi, comfy bed, nearby pubs and chip shop, convenience store across the street. Great living room area, optional breakfast, friendly staff, nice bar and garden. No kettle in the room but available upon request, no TV in the room but good Wi-Fi for phone or living room viewing. Would definitely return.

We recently stayed at a lodge in a peaceful location near Penrith. The room was spacious, clean, and had recently been renovated. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as limited parking and some noise from other guests, overall our stay at the lodge was enjoyable. We would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay near Penrith.

I recently stayed at New Ing Lodge for a quick overnight stopover during my journey between the West Country and Scotland. The room and facilities exceeded my expectations with tasteful décor, a comfortable and spacious bed, and a well-appointed bathroom. I particularly enjoyed the outside space with its clever design featuring a large circular seating area and brick built BBQ. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and I appreciated the hotel's environmentally friendly practices. The wood features in the room were a nice touch, and the generous amount of biscuits and beverages provided were a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location near the M6 and as a popular spot for Coast to Coast walkers made it perfect for my needs. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at the New Ing Lodge for a last-minute getaway in the beautiful lakes. The staff made me feel very welcome and the cleanliness was impeccable. The decor was high standard with cozy wood burning stoves in the bar and dining lounge areas. The bunks in the bedroom were comfortable and the bathrooms were fitted out to a very high standard. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this lodge for a great base to explore the lakes.
