I recently stayed at the Golf Club And Lodges for a business trip and it was excellent. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a lovely armchair and plenty of lamps for a cosy atmosphere. The small fridge and complimentary breakfast bag were a nice touch, and the bacon butties from the clubhouse were delicious. The peaceful location and safety made me feel at ease, and the nearby garden centre cafe was handy for breakfast.

Newent itself was pleasant and friendly, with a convenient Waitrose nearby for fresh sandwiches. The accommodation was quiet and the rooms were excellent, featuring a large TV and good wifi for free. They even provided water in the rooms. Unlike most hotels, they asked what time I wanted breakfast, and it was delicious. Highly recommended! 👍
