The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious and customizable, allowing guests to pre-order their preferences. Guests can also enjoy a lovely view from the grassy area with picnic tables, overlooking the beach.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at No. 1 Charlotte Street. Despite the small room size, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even packing a breakfast for us on our last morning. I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and helpful service.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved the close proximity of the famous Ardbeg, Laphroig, and Lagavulin distilleries. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even surprised me with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate my honeymoon! The rooms were stylish and the bed was super comfy. Plus, there were some great dining options nearby, with SeaSalt Bistro being a standout. And let's not forget the bar downstairs where you can have a blast playing pool and enjoying drinks until late.

This hotel was great, right near the end of the town center and across the street from the white sand beach. It was the perfect location for exploring the charming streets of Port Ellen and only a short walk from dining options. Additionally, being just a couple of miles from the famous distilleries made it ideal for a whiskey enthusiast like me. The staff was attentive and the service was excellent, making my stay even more enjoyable. The rooms, although small, were very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing night's sleep. The best part was the wonderful view overlooking Port Ellen Bay - it was simply breathtaking. The breakfast provided was delicious and personalized, offering a full cooked Scottish breakfast with a variety of items to choose from. this hotel provided great value for money and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Our Christmas stay was amazing! the breakfast was scrumptious and they even catered for gluten-free. the view from our room was stunning, we could see the sea and the surrounding hills. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even provided a room for us to enjoy our takeaway meals. Plus, they helped us with our bags as we had arrived early to go cycling. It was great that they provided us with cutlery and condiments for our meals.

Our room was located directly above the bar area, and we encountered loud music which made it challenging to sleep at night. there were only two plug points available in our twin room, which was inconvenient as we had to juggle between charging our phones and using the hairdryer and kettle.

This hotel is a hidden gem at the edge of town with stunning sea views. The staff is exceptional, going above and beyond to accommodate guests. The rooms on the top floor with no bedside tables are basic yet comfortable and offer a great view of the bay. The breakfast with a view of the water is a perfect start to the day.
