Simon and Andrea were exceptionally welcoming and gave us so many tips to ensure we made the most of our time in the city. the breakfast provided was 10/10, like a gourmet feast fit for royalty. the fan in our room was exceptional; it felt like having a gentle, cool breeze whispering through the room, making it a haven of comfort during warm nights. the walk through the Museum gardens to the city center was a serene experience, akin to strolling through a tranquil oasis in the heart of the bustling metropolis.

Simon and Andrea were mad cool, giving us dope tips! Brekkie was fire, and the fan in our room was a game-changer. the walk through Museum gardens was chill vibes every time. Perfect spot for young party-goers!

The only thing missing was a sick rooftop bar for epic pre-gaming sesh with the squad.

There were lots of stairs to climb to reach the room, and they became quite steep on the last flight.

Grandma Nobby's place is like stepping back in time, but with modern amenities. Loved the mini fridge, homemade biscuits, and Yorkshire tea. Breakfast was delish, especially the locally sourced black pudding. Such a charming stay!

i had the most amazing stay at a bed & breakfast in a quiet central location. the hosts, simon and andrea, gave me a genuine warm welcome and made me feel right at home. the room had some really nice and unusual extras like homemade ginger shortbread and proper milk in the fridge. they even provided a hotel-like bathrobe and slippers, and a lovely gift box of locally-made toiletries. everything was very clean and the breakfast variety was incredible. i couldn't choose among all the options, especially since i'm a vegetarian. no wonder they were nominated for a tourism award!
