the host, Alison, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. the guest house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and my room was comfortable and equipped with everything I needed. the location was excellent, just a short walk from the town center. the breakfast options were varied and delicious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were absolutely blown away by our stay at No 3! From the warm welcome to the immaculately clean room, everything exceeded our expectations. The owner, Alison, was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We especially loved the sunny spot at the back of the house where we could relax. Despite being close to the road, our room was quiet and peaceful. We can't recommend No 3 highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area. a fantastic experience!

Had a fantastic Christmas stay! the room was spotless and had everything we needed. the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was delicious - especially the poached eggs! the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center with plenty of bars and restaurants. We also loved that there was a leisure centre nearby with a swimming pool. the bus service was convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Ullswater and Keswick. We enjoyed short walks to Penrith Castle and Brougham Castle, and the Beacon had stunning views!

The room was a bit cramped for three people, with a small shower and the basin in the main room. It would be better suited as a comfortable single or occasional double rather than a triple room.

Perfect room, comfortable bed, convenient location, easy walk to town center, close to leisure center and bus service.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at this B&B. The value for my money was excellent, with comfy en-suite rooms and top-notch services. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the Lake District. The staff, especially Allison, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided us with great tips and information.

Limited parking space.

Stayed at a hotel in Penrith for Christmas and had a decent experience. the owner was really friendly and let me chill in the conservatory with a book, which was nice. Breakfast was delicious, had a choice of fresh fruit or porridge, and my partner had a full English. the location was great, just a short distance from the motorway and convenient for our onward journey.

The room we booked was quite cramped, with a double and a single bed squeezed in. the shower was way too small for my partner to use comfortably, and the basin was in the main room instead of the bathroom.
