The location of Residence - No 57 was absolutely perfect! It was conveniently situated near local landmarks and attractions. The room, though small, was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities such as toiletries, coffee, and a hair dryer. The owner, Khalid, was incredibly kind and attentive to detail. He ensured that our requests for an earlier check-in were promptly met. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with accessible power points for charging devices. The WIFI was strong and reliable. it was a great place to stay for our three nights in Edinburgh.

Although the room had everything we needed, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The shower arrangement was a bit unusual and could have benefited from some instructions, especially regarding the low water pressure.

The room we stayed in was clean, stylish and cosy. The photos didn't do it justice - it was much better in person! We also appreciated the well-equipped bathroom and the option to have a kitchen in the room. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everything, yet the street was relatively quiet.

The sound insulation was not great. We could hear everyone's steps on the stairs, which was quite annoying.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring all the tourist attractions. Situated on a quiet road, it is about 20-25 minutes walk away from the old town and not far from the main town centre. There are also lots of quirky eating places nearby, making it easy to find a nice meal.

Parking seems to be a huge issue and can be quite expensive.
