We had a delightful two-night stay at The Norfolk Mead. The Hawthorne room offered a wonderful private outside seating area and the hotel's location by the river provided lovely views. The food was superb, with starters and mains of the best quality and generous portions. Breakfast was a treat with a great choice and quality. The staff were truly brilliant, professional, and friendly, making us feel well looked after. We've already booked our next stay!

Had a wonderful time at the hotel for our friend's 25th celebration. The grounds were beautiful and the boutique hotel had a quirky and inviting atmosphere. The staff were fabulous and the food was delicious, with a wide menu selection. It's conveniently located near us and perfect for our future guests. I highly recommend this hotel.

The dinner and breakfast were superb, with beautifully presented dishes made from top quality produce. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The hotel facilities were great, including a cozy lounge and bar. The location, in lovely gardens by the river, provided a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the ample parking was convenient for us. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby river where boats were moored. The staff at this hotel were excellent; very friendly and helpful, especially when we had a particular emergency. it felt like we were staying at a classy spa hotel.

I had such a wonderful time at the Norfolk Mead. The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the gardens, and I loved sipping coffee in bed while enjoying the scenery. The modern bathroom was a treat, especially the fabulous shower. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to make me feel special. And the restaurant! The food was some of the best I've ever had, with generous portions. I also must mention the breakfast, which was delicious. I had a fantastic experience and would love to return.

During our Christmas stay, we really liked the fact that the hotel provided us with a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival. It was a nice touch and added to the festive atmosphere. Another great aspect was the location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near the city center, making it easy for us to explore the nearby attractions and shops. Additionally, the hotel had a cozy lounge area with a fireplace where we could relax and enjoy a warm drink after a day of sightseeing.

There were a few aspects that we did not enjoy during our stay. the room we were assigned was quite small and cramped.

The room I stayed in, the Beechnut Suite, had a beautiful design and was very clean. The hotel facilities were impressive, with three different types of homemade bread served at breakfast, which was delicious. The hotel is situated in lovely grounds and is located in a tranquil area, with the River Bure bordering the extensive grounds. it was a wonderful pampering treat and I will definitely be returning.

We had a two-night stay at Norfolk Mead and wished it was longer. The old building was beautifully appointed and the breakfast was superb with high-quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The location was great for our needs and we would definitely recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location is perfect, with well-kept grounds that make for an easy walk to the river. The stunning setting in the walled garden adds to the beauty of this venue. It's also a great base for exploring nearby attractions like Holt, Sheringham, and Cromer. One of the best things about this place is the lack of road noise, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The service here was exceptional, with friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. From the room service to the housekeeping, every aspect of our stay was top-notch.

Although we didn't encounter any cons during our stay, we highly recommend this hotel to families for a truly memorable experience.

Breakfast was also lovely. We would love to go back again.

The room, especially the attic one with a river view, was cozy and quirky, with a super comfy bed and lovely dressing gowns provided. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and their attention to detail was impressive. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of options made fresh. We also enjoyed the room service and the personal touch of having Liam personally deliver it to our room. this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.
