As a budget traveler, I was delighted with the affordable prices and comfortable accommodations provided at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with modern amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was peaceful and offered beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a diverse menu to suit different tastes.

the new ownership has elevated the experience. the location offers great walks, and the outside terrace has breathtaking views. the food, especially the vegetarian taster menu, was exceptional. the diverse and friendly staff, notably Natalie and Molly, added to the welcoming atmosphere.

Situated in a great location, this hotel offers easy access to many other decent restaurants in the Ribble area. The spacious rooms are beautifully appointed, with large beds and great air conditioning. The service is efficient and friendly, with knowledgeable staff who provide excellent recommendations. Breakfast is a highlight, with freshly squeezed orange juice, yoghurt with muesli, and a tremendous English breakfast. The hotel also boasts a lovely terrace and a quiet cocktail bar for relaxing after a long day.

The reception area can be quite busy and noisy, with tables that are inadequately sized for bigger groups of friends to comfortably gather and enjoy.

the restaurant service, bar/lounge area, and in-room breakfast were very good indeed – no buffet in sight, just waiter service which was of a high standard and very enjoyable. the food had flavour with fabulous service, probably the best I have ever had. the location was just beautiful, set in the stunning Ribble Valley, with a sun terrace and garden area perfect for relaxation.

One thing that could be improved is offering a wider selection of non-alcoholic beers and vegetarian cheeses to cater to all guests' dietary preferences. Other than that, our experience at this hotel was truly exceptional.

During our stay, we had the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of Northcote Langho, including the nearby regions of Cumbria and Yorkshire. The hotel's location allowed easy access to stunning landscapes and charming towns, providing a delightful backdrop for our adventures. we appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the lounge, where we could relax by an unmade fire and enjoy the barman's friendly service while he attended to his cleaning tasks.

We did encounter some minor inconveniences during our stay.

Indulged in a fab gourmet dinner with Lisa's divine creations. Staff are lovely. Rooms comfy. Oh, those luscious flavors still dance in my mouth!

our wedding celebration at northcote in langho was absolutely incredible. from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special. their attention to detail and understanding of my severe nut allergy was a huge relief. the food was outstanding, and every aspect of our stay was simply perfect.

breakfast disappointment

We had a luxurious stay at this hotel where all our exclusive amenities needs were met. the sun terrace was a highlight with its stunning garden area, perfect for relaxation and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Our room had many exclusive advantages, such as a plush king-sized bed and a private balcony with breathtaking views. the restaurant served exceptional food, and in-room breakfast was a pleasant surprise. the bar/lounge area was also a great place to unwind after a long day.

Our only minor issue was with the packed lunches;

We had a wonderful 30th wedding anniversary celebration at Northcote. The room was fabulous, with beautiful views and all the amenities we needed. The staff provided a homely and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The highlight was the gastronomic experience at the restaurant, with each course a triumph of chef skill. The wine flight was also amazing and enhanced the dining experience. we highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion.

The hotel had beautiful countryside surroundings, which made for a peaceful atmosphere during the Christmas holidays. the suite was comfortably decorated with a king-size bed and spacious living area. One of the highlights were the Michelin star dining experiences, which included a variety of dishes that were expertly prepared by the restaurant staff. the staff were well-informed and provided us with great advice on the best wines to pair with our meals.

The air conditioning in the suite seemed to be malfunctioning, which made it a bit difficult to regulate the temperature to our liking. the location of the hotel was a bit remote, which made it difficult to travel outside of the immediate area.
