Had a fantastic stay at this charming country house. the staff, especially Michelle, were excellent and very accommodating. the property could use a makeover, but it was clean and I couldn't really fault it. the bar stayed open until 4:30 on New Year's Eve and we were made to feel welcome and not rushed out. Breakfast was lovely and the overall service was relaxed, making it ideal for a family gathering. the entrance hall was beautiful and the house had interesting displays. Special mention to the lovely man who does the morning breakfast. Happy Birthday to him in two weeks!

The warmth and comfort of the hotel made us feel right at home. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us and our little dachshund feel so welcome. The bedroom was clean and fresh, with a huge queen bed that was big enough for all three of us. The grounds of the hotel were magnificent, adding to the overall beauty of the place. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The hotel and grounds were nice, with well-kept grounds and a charming exterior. the staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate dietary preferences and provide excellent service. -the lounge area was clean, warm, and comfortable, providing a cozy space to relax.

Some rooms were in need of updating, with outdated decor and furniture. The walls between rooms were thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms and bathrooms.

We had some minor issues with our room such as a stiff shower control, and the location of our room was quite far from the front door. Breakfast was also a bit pricey for what was offered.
