My stay at Norton House was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hosts, Craig and Lynne, were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. They even surprised me with a delicious lemon drizzle cake and tea upon arrival, which was a delightful touch. The attention to detail and the willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay was truly impressive. I felt like I was at a home away from home, especially as a solo traveler. The use of fresh, local, and homemade foods for breakfast added to the overall exceptional experience. Craig's excellent local knowledge also helped me explore the Forest of Dean area easily. I couldn't have asked for a better B&B experience and highly recommend Norton House to others.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt like valued guests. The hosts, Bill and Jayne, were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. They provided us with excellent suggestions for attractions to visit, ensuring we had a fantastic time exploring. The breakfast at this hotel was absolutely delicious! All the products were sourced locally, and there were plenty of options for vegetarians and allergens. We loved the attention to detail, from the proper-sized toiletries to the option of having fresh milk in a thermos. The bed in our room was the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and the views from the hotel were simply breathtaking. We truly felt rested, relaxed, and thoroughly spoiled during our stay. We can't wait to come back!

The Cider Loft at Norton House was a delightful cottage with stunning views. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was clean and provided with toiletries. The host, Lynda, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with a delicious breakfast and helpful local information. The cottage had plenty of entertainment options and was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

Not one thing.

The breakfast selection was impressive, with plenty of options to choose from, and everything was cooked to perfection. the location was ideal for my business trip, with easy access to the river and some great local pubs. the room was well equipped, and I appreciated the complementary toiletries.

The twin beds in my room were very squeaky, which made it difficult to sleep soundly. Another guest had also mentioned this issue, so it seems to be a recurring problem.
