The location of the hotel is excellent, being near all facilities on offer in the area. Shops, restaurants, and all the wonderful sights of Lake District are within close proximity. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with a bed that guarantees a good night's sleep. The breakfast area is well-presented and the food is delicious, including perfect poached eggs and yummy croissants. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, making the overall service outstanding. Additionally, there is a car park space available for convenience.

They provided great information on local walks and recommendations for restaurants. the breakfast was delicious and they even remembered our preferences. the location of the house in Ambleside Town was perfect for exploring the area, and we particularly enjoyed cycling to Grasmere. We felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. Definitely planning to return. Thanks for looking after us and our bike!

Ambleside is a very cute and picturesque little town, perfect for a romantic escape. the hotel was located close to the town center, which made it convenient for exploring the area. Plus, there were some nice nearby activities, like hiking and visiting the waterfalls.

The hotel fell short of our expectations. the room was small and cramped, with old furnishings and outdated decor.

The room was comfortable and clean with a large shower room / bathroom. the flat screen TV was a nice touch and the bed was large and comfortable. the breakfast was excellent with a variety of options including cereals, yoghurts, and a full English. the location of the hotel was ideal and there was plenty of coffee or tea refills available.

One minor issue was that the radiator in the room got a little too hot in the morning. there was some condensation build-up on the window which led to some mould.
