Exploring nearby landmarks such as Black Rock Gorge, Fyrish Monument, Little Fyrish Monument, Cnoc Fyrish, and Foulis Castle, all within a few kilometers. we were slightly disappointed by the self, serve cold breakfast options on the weekend and encountered some minor inconveniences like a hard, to, manoeuvre shower door and the lack of a mirror in the bedroom, which could have been useful for preparing for a wedding. the noisy ground floor bar was quickly addressed by the accommodating staff, who allowed us to move to a quieter dining area. Novar Arms Hotel provided a pleasant stay with its cleanliness, friendly service, convenient location, and opportunities for relaxation and exploration in the surrounding area.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. the central heating in the room was powerful and adjustable, which was great. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was in a quiet town and a short drive away from Inverness. there was a small supermarket nearby for any necessities.

The building was in need of renovation and the walls were paper thin, making it quite noisy. the bathroom setup was inconvenient and unhygienic, with the toilet and shower rooms separate and no sink in the toilet room.

From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by the hidden treasures this hotel had to offer! The exterior may have appeared run down, but inside, it was mind-blowingly clean and spacious. The staff, with their super friendly and helpful attitude, made us feel like VIPs. The jaw-droppingly delicious food in the restaurant was a treat for the taste buds. Even though the hotel was a bit dated, the flat-screen TV and powerful shower made up for it. And the best part? The on-site car park made exploring the surrounding area a breeze. Trust me, this place is a hidden gem!
