During our stay, we were impressed by the hotel's inviting set-up and the good-sized rooms. The location was also highly convenient, with nearby shops and easy access to the A1 motorway. However, we were disappointed by the lack of thorough cleanliness in the rooms, particularly the presence of a hair between the sheets and the failure to regularly mop the floors. the limited and overpriced menu at the restaurant left much to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, the outdoor area and overall size of the rooms were definite advantages. Unfortunately, the separation of the bathroom with the shower and sink area was not to our personal preference.

The location of the hotel is convenient, close to the motorway and the train station. The room was fairly comfortable with a good shower and air conditioning. The carpets in some areas were a bit worn out, but overall the room was clean. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.

The bar staff could have been more polite and respectful towards the guests.

The room was stunning, with a comfortable bed and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute drive of a retail park with plenty of restaurants and activities.

The staff were superb, always there to help and with great personalities. They made sure our room was kept for us throughout our stay, even with uncertain circumstances. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful sleep. The hotel had a variety of breakfast options and the staff were kind enough to let us take it back to our room. The location was convenient, with easy access to both the new and old parts of the city, as well as being a short drive to London.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, situated in a beautiful area with no disturbances. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were polite and helpful at all times. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, and a cozy sitting area. The bathroom was well-equipped with a hairdryer and a refreshing shower. I was delighted to find that the room had free toiletries and an electric kettle. The television in the room had a flat-screen and cable/satellite channels, providing a variety of entertainment options. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi, which was convenient for staying connected with my emails, Facebook, and Twitter. I was extremely satisfied with the comfort and quality of service provided here.

The hotel grounds were beautiful and perfect for walking the dogs. Friendly staff and a good hot breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms.

The staff were friendly, efficient. Large and modern reception and bar area with plenty of seating. Spacious, well-prepared rooms with comfortable beds and modern ensuites. Freshly-cooked and delicious buffet breakfast with local butcher's sausages and bacon, as well as a good selection of cereals, pastries, and fresh fruit. Large open area with tables and chairs for relaxation.

As a budget traveler, I found the facilities at the hotel to be excellent. The room was clean and modern, with a mini fridge and a great tea/coffee service. The TV had a good selection of channels, and the free WiFi and parking were a bonus.

During my stay at Novotel, I had a special request for my partner's birthday and they went above and beyond to make it memorable. The staff surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake, which made the celebration even more special. The spacious bathroom and large television screen added to the comfort of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable and convenient stay for a half marathon at Knebworth. Perfect location at the entrance to Knebworth and just off the A1M. The bed was very comfortable, the room was cozy, and the shower was great. They even provided a late checkout and cooked us pizza. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely romantic escape and enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us in the room. The location was perfect for us, with easy access to local attractions. The restaurant was also a highlight, with delicious food and attentive service.

The room was uncomfortably warm overnight and we struggled with the room temperature control. there were not enough tea and coffee supplies for two people.
