We had a great stay at Novotel in York for 3 nights. The attentive staff, delicious food at the restaurant, and a good selection for breakfast made our stay memorable. The comfortable lounge area and friendly receptionists at the 24-hour reception were a bonus. The room was very nice and the hotel's cleanliness impressed us. The convenient on-site parking, at a reasonable cost compared to city center parking, was a great perk. We will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

I loved this hotel! It was just outside the city wall with a lovely walk along the river into town. I could easily walk to all the tourist attractions and the centre of the city. The staff were excellent, they made up the beds for my grandchildren before I arrived back in the room and were very friendly and keen to help. The service was excellent as well. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. The amenities were fantastic, including the indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room which was a nice touch.

The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond for our needs. We were pleasantly surprised by the special treats left in our room for our anniversary. the hotel location was perfect for exploring the city and we enjoyed the beautiful views from our room balcony.

The sofa bed provided was uncomfortable for sleeping. the maintenance work meant that our bathroom was not cleaned for a day, which was a bit inconvenient.
