We recently had the pleasure of staying at this upscale hotel in a stunning location. Adjacent to a beautiful golf course and close to the picturesque Lake District, this place offers a truly idyllic setting. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as ironing facilities and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even fulfilling my dietary requirements with a delicious dairy-free breakfast. The free Wi-Fi and parking were added bonuses, making our stay here even more convenient. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in this region.

The countryside views around the hotel were picturesque, and the surrounding area was peaceful. the mattress was firm and comfortable, perfect for a romantic escape. the shower was amazing, with a modern design and excellent water pressure.

The room was not as clean as we expected, with some unpleasant smells and a few stains on the carpet. the breakfast was a bit underwhelming as some of the hot food was lukewarm at best.

just came back from a relaxing stay in chorley, lancashire. oak royal exceeded my expectations! loved the idyllic location, delicious food, impressive decor, and the super friendly staff. they made our stay extra special. definitely a 4-star experience!

Breakfast needed more variety.

Despite the housekeeping issues, the hotel's location was fantastic. Situated in the middle of rolling hills, it offered stunning countryside views. The Larkhill restaurant provided superb cuisine at a reasonable price. its proximity to motorways made it conveniently accessible.

The housekeeping at this hotel was lacking. Previous guests' toiletry bottles and soap were left in the bathroom, and the towel rail and rack were rusted and falling apart.

I recently stayed at Oak Royal and had a wonderful experience. My purpose was a relaxing countryside getaway, and I couldn't have picked a better place. The view from my room window was breathtaking, with green fields and trees all around. The room itself was equipped with all the amenities I needed, including a beautifully designed bathroom and comfortable furniture. The daily room service ensured that I always had fresh towels and my morning coffee, tea, and biscuits were replenished daily. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The reception and lounge areas were warm and inviting, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

The hotel provided a convenient location for the wedding we were attending. We were impressed with the modern decor and attention to detail in the public areas of the hotel. the hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside, offering a lovely view from our room.

The breakfast service was lacking, as we had to repeatedly ask for toast and milk for our tea, which never arrived. the noise from a party kept us awake until 1:00 am, and we felt that a midnight cut-off time would have been more appropriate.

the hotel is modern and upscale, with amazing style and facilities. I was upgraded to a deluxe King room, which was spacious and well-equipped. the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the chef who catered to my dairy-free request. the dinner in the hotel restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. the lounge was comfortable and cozy, although it would have been nice to have the fire going for ambiance. the location of the hotel was perfect, with a footpath nearby leading to beautiful scenery and stunning views. Parking was convenient and close to the entrance, which is a rarity in big hotels. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to return.

I had a truly exceptional stay at this hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration memorable. They allowed my girlfriend to decorate our room with birthday banners and presents, which was a delightful surprise. the receptionist played along and kept a straight face when I arrived, adding to the fun. the sports bar was quiet and had a friendly bar girl, while the room itself was fresh and comfortable, with all the amenities provided. the restaurant had a lovely ambiance and served fantastic food cooked to perfection. They even brought out a birthday tart with candles for me to blow out. the next morning, after a restful sleep, I enjoyed a full English breakfast before starting my journey home. I cannot fault this hotel in any way and would choose to stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel facilities are top-notch, with a superb restaurant and a bar area adjoining it. The cleanliness of the rooms and the rest of the hotel was impeccable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
