The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. With comfortable and well-equipped rooms, including a comfy bed, guests will find everything they need for a comfortable stay. The location is also ideal, close to the Beamish museum and within walking distance of nearby villages.

We had a fantastic stay at Oak Tree Inn. The room was clean and comfy, with a modern bathroom and plenty of hot water. The separate entrance to our room was a convenient feature, and parking was available right outside the door. The breakfast provided by Sue, the friendly landlady, was delicious and kept us fueled for the day. We also loved the cozy pub atmosphere and enjoyed chatting with the locals, especially Carol and Terri, the friendly bar staff. The location was great, with a handy little shop across the road and some lovely walks nearby. We will definitely be returning to this fabulous place with its affordable price.

We stayed at the Oak Tree Inn for one night while visiting Beamish Museum. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially considering our late check-in after attending a funeral. The 4 poster bed in our room was extremely comfortable and the antique furniture added a lovely touch. The separate accommodation next door was a pleasant surprise, perfect for our five-year-old who initially wasn't thrilled about staying in a pub. Breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious. We will definitely be returning to the Oak Tree Inn in the future.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with a restaurant right in front of the premises where we had a delicious meal. It is also easy to get to public transport or take a stroll to nearby villages. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a four-poster bed and a massive couch. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing plates and cutlery for takeaway meals. Plus, the breakfast in the morning is great, offering a variety of options.

The cleanliness of the hotel leaves something to be desired, as the room was not cleaned, the bed was not made, and the towels were not changed during our three-day stay.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. the breakfast was also excellent. the separate building for the rooms provided privacy and the all-hours supermarket across the road was convenient.

The room itself was small and outdated, with old furniture and a shower room that was in need of refurbishment. the carpet was thin and uncomfortable to walk on, and there was no blackout system for the front door, making it difficult to sleep with the constant light.

our recent stay in stanley was absolutely amazing. oak tree inn exceeded our expectations with their newly refurbished rooms and attentive staff. the breakfast served in the pub was the perfect way to start the day. we also appreciated the convenience of having a premier store nearby. overall, fantastic value and highly recommended!
