Stayed at a fancy place with free parking and WiFi. Kids loved the playground. Saw garden views from my accommodation. How posh!

Just loved everything about it, couldn't find a single fault. Pure perfection.

The place was mind-blowing! The children were super excited about the amazing play area. My younger grandchild was thrilled to wake up to see the sheep, Guinea fowl, and peacocks. The hot tub was absolutely jaw-dropping and enjoyed by all of us. The kitchen inventory was impressive, including a fantastic garlic crusher. The grounds were excellent with a flood-lit footie pitch, secluded bbq areas, and a great play area for kids. The walled-garden farm was a delight with meerkats, peacocks, pigs, chickens, sheep, and beautiful birds/fowl. The attention to detail inside the accommodation was top-notch, and there were plenty of equipment and amenities. The tastefully decorated place had a sweet little private garden with seating and a table. The provided BBQ area was a nice treat, especially with all the BBQ kit. Vic, at the farm, was a delight, taking the kids on a tour, letting them collect eggs and feed the animals. The location was a good base to explore nearby attractions and the Peak District. Everything was absolutely amazing at this place! Elliot House was spacious and beautifully appointed, easily accommodating our party of 6 adults and 4 children. The washing facilities were very convenient, and the hot tub kept everyone entertained even during wet weather. The Orchard tour provided by Vic was a must-do and absolutely fantastic. The park, play area, and fields were brilliant for the children, and the whole site was safe and secure. We can't wait to come back!

The excellent grounds with a lit footie pitch, secluded bbq areas, and a great play area for kids, along with the beautiful walled-garden farm, made for a delightful experience. The attention to detail and well-equipped accommodation, along with a friendly farm tour, left our kids loving every moment.

It was a fantastic experience for the whole family.

I had an amazing time at this holiday village. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful house to the breathtaking garden. the kids had a blast in the playground area and they especially loved the playhouse. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire property was well-maintained. We enjoyed the animals in the back, including meerkats, peacocks, pigs, and more. the attention to detail inside the accommodation was impressive, and the private garden with seating was a lovely touch. the BBQ area was a great addition, and it was convenient to have all the necessary equipment provided. the tour of the farm and the opportunity to collect eggs and feed the animals made our stay even more special. I highly recommend Oakerthorpe Holiday Village and can't wait to return.
