Just had the best birthday bash getaway at the hotel near the Metro station in Newcastle. the room was spotless and the breakfast was amazeballs! Would go back FOR SURE. the room was even better than the photos!

The owner was cool, rooms were clean and cozy, and breakfast hit the spot. Super close to the beach and Metro, making it easy to chill and explore. We partied hard at Hotel Triplets Entertainment and had a blast at the beach!

Would've loved some more late-night activities for us young party animals!

Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean with quality bedding and towels. Location on Whitley Bay seafront: Just a 2-minute walk away from the seafront. Hotel facilities: A bar with drinks and coffee on tap, comfortable chairs, and a television. Staff: Andrew, the proprietor, was chatty, informative, and helpful.

Oaktree Lodge exceeded expectations from the warm welcome to the excellent breakfast. Spotless rooms, comfortable bed, friendly owner, and ideal location close to the seafront make for a perfect stay. Will definitely return.

recently stayed in whitley bay and came across a gem at a b&b. oaktree lodge exceeded expectations. warm welcome, charming host, spotless rooms, and a sumptuous breakfast made the stay unforgettable. located conveniently near the coast, it's a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway.

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this B&B. The hosts, Andrew and Sonia, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of useful information. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Andrew's delicious breakfast, including a generous plate of fresh fruits, was a highlight. We felt welcomed and valued throughout our stay and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely B&B near the sea. the bedrooms were beautifully presented, and the hosts were kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. the breakfast was delicious, and we felt safe and clean with the provided hand sanitizer and strict cleaning protocols. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely book again when in the area.

We only stayed for one night as we were on our way to a mini cruise. Andrew, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, showing us to our spotlessly clean room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate, and the breakfast cooked by Sonia was excellent. Andrew even gave us great tips on where to eat in the area. The location was quiet and just a short walk from the seafront. We will definitely book this B&B again when we're in the area.

We did find the room to be a bit small, with limited space for our belongings. It would have been more enjoyable if there was more room to move around and relax.
