The hotel's location was ideal, just a short walk from the city center and a minute away from a famous trail. We came for the seafood festival and wanted somewhere near so we didn’t need to worry about parking. The location of The Old Castle is excellent, as it is near the town, harbour, and beach. We were able to reach all of these places within 30 minutes using the Rodwell trail. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and well decorated. It had an en-suite bathroom with toiletries provided. There was even a small fridge in the room with fresh milk, as well as coffee, tea, and a kettle. The linen and towels were of high quality, and everything had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. The pub had a good choice of beers and the breakfast was top class, cooked to order. Martin and Diane, the hosts, were both very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at The Old Castle if you're visiting the Weymouth area.

The beds, albeit old, provided a decent night's sleep. The breakfast tray offered a satisfactory selection of fruits, rolls, butter, and jam. The best part was the flexibility to customize your breakfast preferences without the need for complicated systems or technology. I would recommend this hotel for its value for money and convenient location.
