felt like a home from home - simple, attractive, and well thought out furnishings and layout. Bedrooms were comfortable with good-sized beds. the sitting room was cozy with an open fire, and the kitchen area was small but sufficient, allowing for a sense of connection to the rest of the group. the location was great, right in the heart of a charming town with plenty of choices for dining and shops nearby. the hosts were helpful and responsive. the cottage was a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Peak District.

The value for money at Old Hall Cottage was exceptional, with a cozy and comfortable room that had really comfy beds and a great shower. The location was perfect, right in the heart of a lovely town with great cafes and beautiful walks on our doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was if there were more options available.
