We had a fantastic stay at the Old Posting House. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and had a large shower room. We enjoyed delicious home cooked meals for both dinner and breakfast. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations and the portions were generous. The hotel felt like a home away from home and we would definitely recommend it to others.

I stayed with a group of friends after walking around Buttermere. The reception from the staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were a good size, very clean with modern bathrooms. They had tea and coffee making facilities and free wifi. There was plenty of hot water for a shower. The bar staff and food were excellent and reasonably priced. It was a great place to stay.

The breakfast was absolutely superb, with freshly prepared dishes that were served exactly as I requested. The team of Terry, Nicola, and Malcom were outstanding, friendly, and efficient.
