We had a wonderful stay at the Old Repeater Station Bed & Breakfast. Les, the owner, was a fantastic host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The BnB is a unique and character-filled property, being an old telephone repeater station. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious ensuite bathroom and great views. The location was perfect for our Hadrian's Wall walk, with the bus stop right outside for easy access. In the evenings, Les provided delicious meals, along with a selection of beer and wine. The atmosphere at the BnB was friendly and we enjoyed meeting and chatting with other guests. we highly recommend staying here for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at a cozy bed & breakfast in a secluded location. The host was incredibly accommodating, offering dinner, wine, and even laundry services. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. It was the perfect spot to rest after hiking the Hadrian's Wall path, with no other options for miles around. The beautiful surroundings added to the charm of the experience. I would gladly stay here again.

Escaping daily routine? More like escaping civilization! Absolute peace and quiet, with a lovely garden to admire. Amenities include free Wi-Fi and a communal TV. The nearest airport is in another realm.

I guess the airport being in the land of elves and dragons was a bit inconvenient.

Some aspects of cleanliness could be improved, such as the shower in the ensuite being dirty and mouldy.

I was also impressed by the venue's commitment to being environmentally friendly, with features such as a heat pump for heating and hot water, water sourced from a borehole, and on-site wastewater treatment. The owner, Les, was genuinely helpful and sociable, and his local knowledge made it a great venue for a country break. Plus, the proximity to Hadrian's Wall and Housesteads Fort and Museum was perfect for exploring the area.
