Great location, close to Stansted Airport and easy to reach. the room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. the host was friendly and welcoming upon arrival.

We had an issue with the sink in the shower room. It was leaking water from underneath, making it unusable.

I had a fantastic stay at Old Thatch Bambers Green. The value for money was great, with beautiful rooms that were homely and quirky. The location was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful countryside scenes. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, especially towards my four children. I also loved the powerful and refreshing shower.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if there were more options available.

We had a lovely stay at this picturesque guesthouse. The owners made us feel incredibly welcome and provided a travel cot with bedding for our toddler. The room was spotless and we especially enjoyed the little seating area outside. The owner even made us a delicious pizza on request! Despite a few minor drawbacks like a slightly disturbing smoke detector light and lack of towel rack in the bathroom, we would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel for its charm and hospitality.

The location of this hotel is incredibly convenient, being so close to Stansted airport and the M11 motorway. Despite its proximity to the airport, I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn't hear the sound of planes flying overhead. The room I stayed in had a delightful and interesting decor, with an original exposed beam ceiling that added to its charm. The bed was very comfortable, the TV had a terrific size and clarity, and the hot strong shower was greatly appreciated. The owners couldn't do enough to make my stay exceptional, with excellent communication throughout my time there.

Parking was a bit of a squeeze.

Had a fantastic Easter weekend at this charming country retreat. Loved being surrounded by beautiful countryside while still being conveniently located close to the airport. the drop off and car parking service was a great bonus making our arrival and departure a breeze. the rooms were comfortable and stylish with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, the pizzas were simply amazing!

We didn't realise that breakfast had to be pre-booked which was a bit of a letdown. we had some trouble getting transportation to the hotel as there were no taxis readily available at the airport.

Our stay at this B&B was overall comfortable and enjoyable. The location was great, and the property was clean and well-maintained. We found the owners to be friendly and helpful, and they even provided tea, coffee, and bottled water in our room. The room itself was spacious and had a good-sized TV. We also appreciated the personal touches and the lovely countryside setting.

The only minor downside was that the car park was a bit untidy and uneven. Additionally, it would have been nice to have more breakfast options available, especially for those arriving late in the evening.

The service provided by the staff was amazing. They were extremely accommodating, allowing us to drop our bags off before the official check-in time so we could attend a wedding. They even organized a taxi for us at 4 am. The room itself was spacious, bright, and well-laid out. It had all the amenities we needed, including tea/coffee facilities, a fridge, and a microwave. The shower was powerful and refreshing. The whole room had a calm and relaxing feel to it.
