Definitely perfect for a good night's sleep after a hard day. the garden area was a nice spot to relax. Exploring nearby Broomhill Park and Upnor Castle added an extra layer to our family bonding experience during our stay at Orchard Cottage in Higham, Kent. the continental breakfast was satisfying overall, although a bit limited in variety in terms of bread and spreads. But the generous fruit bowl made up for it, and the ambiance of the conservatory during breakfast was delightful. the host, Push, was very welcoming and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. the convenience of separate entrances to our rooms added to the comfort and privacy we appreciated, especially after returning late from a wedding at Cooling Castle Barn. Breakfast very much resembled what is in my cupboards at home. the location was easy to find, and the amenities in the kitchen felt like a home away from home. We also loved the easy access to landmarks like RSPB Cliffe Pools, Rochester Cathedral, and the Historic Dockyard Chatham, which enriched our experience and created lasting memories during our trip to Higham.
