our second stay in stromness was even better than the first - orkney lux lodges truly exceeded our expectations! the lodge had breathtaking views, was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. plus, the welcome pack with local goodies was a delightful touch. definitely worth the higher price!

I absolutely loved the warm welcome I received at the lodge, with a fridge stocked with local goodies and a lovely touch of pink carnations. The deck with the hot tub and beautifully crafted lounging chairs was a definite highlight, offering a perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. the location was ideal, with easy access to shops and a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

One improvement I would suggest is having more places to hang towels to dry, especially after using the spa pool. Although I was provided with plenty of towels, it was a bit challenging to dry them properly.

I recently stayed at a lodge in Stromness and had a wonderful experience. The lodge, nestled in a perfect location, offered breathtaking views of the water and easy access to the heart of the town. The lodge itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed the morning coffee overlooking the water and the evenings spent in the hot tub. The thoughtful touch of local pottery added to the charm of the place. it was a truly amazing stay.

For us, it was the ideal getaway spot. 😊
