The location was perfect for a story festival I was attending, being only a few doors down from the Playhouse, one of the main venues. Nicola, the host, was very friendly, helpful, and responsive from the start. the room was immaculately clean and comfortable, and Nicola had taken the trouble to put out decaf coffee and tea for me. the stay was exceptionally relaxing due to the soothing ambience and amenities provided by Nicola at the Oronsay Guest House. Exploring nearby landmarks like the Tenantry Column and the Alnwick Garden Poison Garden offered a unique opportunity for family bonding and creating unforgettable memories during our visit to Alnwick.

The rooms, like mini suites, were beautifully decorated with thoughtful amenities. the welcoming hostess provided great tips for family-friendly activities in Alnwick. the central location and comfortable beds made our visit truly memorable.

Stayed at a cozy hotel close to the town centre in a field. LOVED the rooms with good facilities. Staff was super friendly. Would choose it again. Even better than in photos!

Featuring a private bathroom: the bathroom was like a luxurious spa retreat, with a shower that felt like a gentle waterfall cascading down on you after a long day of exploring. The fluffy towels and high-quality toiletries made me feel pampered and refreshed. Cons: Slight traffic noise.

The dining scene around Oronsay Guest House is pure magic, mate! Cafe Tirreno's cold meats are a flavor explosion, while McKenna's At Alnwick Playhouse dishes out culinary wonders. the Fleece Inn serves up hearty dishes, and Bondgate Restaurant at the White Swan is a hidden gem. And let's not forget Dishy Fishy Chip Shop for a tasty catch! Nicola's warm welcome and comfy beds are just the cherry on top.

Nothing to be critical about, but squeezing into the off-road parking might test your parallel parking skills. Nonetheless, Oronsay Guest House shines brighter than the Northumberland stars!

The only minor drawback was that the Wi-Fi signal in the room was a bit weak at times, making it difficult to connect to the internet consistently.
