We had a great stay at a lovely cottage in Manton. Osprey Cottage, Manton In Rutland, was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts, Ben and Marie, were extremely helpful and accommodating. They even allowed us to check in early when our car's air conditioning stopped working in the heat. The cottage stays cool in hot weather, which was a real bonus. We appreciated the welcome provisions and the helpful information about the local area and attractions. The village of Manton itself has a charming feel, with a dog-friendly pub and nearby dog-friendly cafes. The location was perfect for exploring Rutland, especially Stamford, Exton, and the beautiful walks around Rutland Water.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The hosts had left us a delightful welcome pack with everything we needed for our stay, including some delicious treats. The cottage itself was immaculate and had a wonderfully cozy feel to it. The attention to detail and the high-quality finish were truly impressive. The hosts had also provided us with a wealth of information about the local area and its attractions, which made exploring the surroundings even more enjoyable. The location of the cottage was perfect, with a charming village atmosphere and a fantastic pub just a stone's throw away. Being so close to Rutland Water was a real treat, and we highly recommend checking out the nearby towns of Stamford and Exton, as well as the scenic walks by the lake. our stay at this cottage was simply wonderful, and we can't thank Ben and Marie enough for their hospitality.

loved the peaceful location, beautiful trails for dog walking, and modern, clean accommodations. Appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack and excellent communication from the hosts. Nearby pub was a bonus. A true home away from home.

I recently stayed at Osprey Cottage in Manton and had a wonderful experience. The owner, Ben, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The cottage itself was lovely, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I appreciated the exceptional welcome pack left by the owners, which included some delicious treats. The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring Rutland, and the nearby pub, Horse and Jockey, served delicious meals. The cottage also had a beautiful garden with outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying meals outside. The owners were also very accommodating with our requests for an early arrival and late departure, which was greatly appreciated. I had a fantastic stay at Osprey Cottage and would highly recommend it to others.

While my stay at Osprey Cottage was mostly enjoyable, there were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Secondly, the stairs in the cottage could be a challenge for individuals with mobility issues, as they have a low ceiling and require bending around a bend.
