I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main centre and close to the harbour. The service provided by the staff was excellent - they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully designed and incredibly clean, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The breakfast room was lovely, with a cozy atmosphere and a warming open fire. the service, location, and cleanliness of this hotel exceeded my expectations and made for a truly enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at the Overdale Guest House in Whitby and had a fantastic experience. Jayne and Keith, the owners, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location of this place was ideal, as it was just a short walk away from the main centre and the harbour side. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the city, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, and they couldn't have been more helpful. The housekeeping and laundry services were top-notch, ensuring that the rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The room amenities were also excellent, with ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, as well as a cozy sitting area. The hotel also provided free toiletries, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen tv, making it feel like a home away from home.

The hill it was situated on gave it a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The housekeeping was immaculate, and the room amenities such as the ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a sitting area where I could relax after a long day of exploring. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were added bonuses. The breakfast served in the dining room was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff couldn't have been better, providing excellent service from beginning to end.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The beautiful house had so much charm and character, it was truly a warm and cozy place to stay. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, including the town centre and the English Heritage Halloween event at the Abbey which was fantastic.

Nothing it is perfect.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was nicely decorated with a homely feel. the location was central, close to local shops, bars, and restaurants. the parking offered was an added bonus, and the Wi-Fi connection was strong.

The breakfast service was not flexible. We had to wake up early to catch breakfast, and it was only available until a specific time.

The location of this guesthouse is a huge advantage, as it is within walking distance of the harbour and the main centre of Whitby. You can easily stroll down to the harbour or explore the town without having to worry about transportation. The room we stayed in was beautifully presented and newly renovated, with a super comfortable bed and spotlessly clean surroundings. The breakfast served in the main reception room was excellent, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

There are some building works going on next door at the moment, which may cause some disturbance during your stay.
